Life has gotten in the way of mosaics these last few days. The kids were off for spring break last week, we sadly had to say good bye to our precious little Sophie dog and I had all 3 kids home with a yucky tummy thing yesterday. Got one off to school today, 2 still recuperating. I have also been spending the remaining days before Main St. doing the not so fun things of business- getting a wireless credit card machine, issuing a press release, activiating a wireless roaming device for my laptop so I can report from Main St. etc. These are just a few of the numerous things that go into being an artist full time- it isn't all creating art all the time- wouldn't that be more fun! I have attached to this blog an image of the very first small sculpture I created in a dress form. This photograph is still one of my favorites.
